This month in worship, I’m continuing on our journey through the Gospel of Luke. On January 2nd, we ad- dress the only story in the Bible about Jesus childhood or youth, the day that he stays behind in Jerusalem while his whole family is returning home to Nazareth. Then we’ll jump ahead to Jesus’s baptism in the Jor- dan by John, the event that sparks the beginning of his public ministry.
