Holy Week Information

Palm Sunday will be at all churches during normal worship times. Watch for special information coming about ways to engage in Palm Sunday.

Maundy Thursday Service at Forest Grove UMC at 7 PM.

Good Friday Service at Hillsboro UMc at 7 PM.

Easter Services at all churches at the normal worship times.

Palm Sunday Community Prayer Walk, March 29 at 3:00 PM

Start at St. Anthony’s and St. Bede shared parking lot. The total walk is 3.5 miles. The path is paved and fairly level. It should take 2 hours or less to complete the walk. This is a community walk to stop, reflect, and pray for those who worship, serve, learn, and work in Forest Grove. Maps will be provided.

Churches throughout Washington County are participating in the Palm Sunday Pathway. Hillsboro UMC service will end about 11:40 AM, and you are invited to either walk with us or drive to the Washington County Courthouse. You’re encouraged to wave a palm branch (provided) ormake a sign (from 10 – 11 AM) to carry in our parade. We’ll sing “We Are Marching/Caminando”) as we make our way and join together with friends from Hillsboro United Church of Christ and Calvary Lutheran. Other churches will meet us at the courthouse. If you want to drive, there should be plenty of parking. Please bring a lawn chair. We’ll hear stories from people who have experienced war and oppression, and join them in a longing for humility, peace, and compassion.

Easter Bruch Fellowship – Sunday, April 5th at 10:15 AM at Forest Grove UMC

Please join us for Easter Brunch after the service on Easter Sunday. Egg ccasseroles/quiche, assorted breads and sweets, juice, and coffee/tea to be served. Sign-ups will be available on Sunday, March 29th, to help with cooking and other contributions.
