In June, we finish up the Season of Easter, celebrate Pentecost,
and begin the season of Ordinary Time. We join Paul and Silas
in their jail cell, locked up for disturbing the peace. We witness
the birth of the church in Jerusalem, where disciples were
miraculously able to share the good news of God in every
language, but were derided by scoffers as just being drunk.
We check in with Jesus during his farewell discourse to his
disciples, as he gives them a last word in person before moving
on. We traveled through the wilderness with the beleaguered
prophet, Elijah, as he strengthens for the journey with divine
bread.
Blessings, Pastor David+
